Week 14 – Sleepless nights

Although most of being pregnant is absolutely lovely, especially the growing bump, one thing I could really do with is a good nights sleep. As you grow sleeping becomes more and more of an issue. I’m not one to sleep on my back anyway but you can’t really do that when you’re pregnant because it affects the way you breathe (I’m not sure how). Sleeping on your left side is recommended, but I usually sleep on my right. Anyway, as I get up on average 5 times a night to pee, getting comfortable on either side is hard work.

Annoyingly, every time I complain about this to anyone who’s had a baby they respond with “This is the good time, you wont get any sleep when the baby arrives”
